When I started running I was doing the c25k (couch to 5k) program. I was pushing myself hard, not taking any rest days, just blowing through it as fast as I could. well, I pushed to hard ! I wasn't giving myself enough time to recover and I set myself back. It was starting to feel like I might never be able to run, I gave up on it, not really, but I was taking a week or two off. I started back up slow no longer doing the c2rk program. I am now comfortable with running 5k, I'm not going beyond that right now, but working on my time. I absolutely love the way I feel after a run, I'm no longer dreading it, but looking forward to it. so I think it's safe to say I am officially a runner !
